Ingredients:
5 cups milk
3 tbsp corn starch
Water to mix with corn starch
Sugar to taste
Ground cardamom..you can vanilla essence or rose water.
Method:
In a bowl, mix corn starch and enough water to make a thin consistency mixture but not too runny.
In a pot, add 4 cups milk, sugar, cardamom and the corn starch mixture. Keep the remaining 1 cup of milk for later use.
Bring to a boil stirring constantly.
Once it starts to thicken, reduce the heat and cook on low stirring constantly.
Add the remaining 1 cup of milk to get the consistency desired. If after adding 5 cups of milk and the drink is still thick, you can add more milk.
Cook on low n keep stirring, carefully taste the pudding along the way, when you don’t taste the raw taste of corn starch and the desired thickness is reached then the pudding drink is ready.
Remove from the stove and pour in serving cups or mugs.
Garnish with nuts, dessicated coconut and sprinkle of cinnamon.
