Tandoori Turkey

Tandoori Masala Turkey
Ingredients
10 lbs turkey
2 teaspoons of salt
2 teaspoons of Black pepper
2 teaspoons of Garlic powder
2 teaspoons of tandoori masala
2 teaspoons of chilli flakes
2 teaspoons of Shan Kabab mix
1 teaspoon of paprika.
Yoghurt
Ginger/garlic paste..third cup
Olive oil

Method:
Step 1
Rub the Turkey with garlic and ginger paste.
Step 2
Rub the mixed dry ingredients on the turkey.
Step 3
Massage the turkey with olive oil.
Step 4.
Spread plain yogurt over the turkey.

Baking instructions: conventional oven
..Bake @ 400 degrees for 30 mins uncovered.
..Pull out of the oven and lightly spread the turkey with butter.
..Bake for another 30 minutes uncovered.
..Pull out of the oven and lightly spread the turkey with butter again, then cover the turkey and bake for another 1 hour@ 400 degrees.
..Remove from the oven and lightly spread the turkey with butter and continue baking @ 300 degrees for another 30 minutes covered.
..Then remove the turkey from the oven and again lightly spread with butter and continue baking the turkey for 15 minutes @300 degrees uncovered.
Now remove the turkey from the oven and let the turkey rest for at least 15 min before serving.

The time of cooking will vary depending on the size of the turkey.
