Chocolate Chip Cookies

Chocolate Chip Cookies
Half cup butter
Half tsp salt
Half cup brown sugar
Half cup white sugar
Half tsp baking soda
One and a half cup flour
One egg
1 cup chocolate chips
1 tsp vanilla powder or essence

In a pot, add the butter and melt it (stirring constantly) until it starts to become brown, then remove from the stove and add an ice cube to cool the butter so it doesn’t continue to cook or brown. Mix in the ice cube until it melts.
In a bowl, add the dry ingredients and mix well.
In a mixer, add the sugars and mix, then add the melted butter, vanilla essence and the egg and continue to mix.
Now add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and mix well.
Finally add the chocolate chips and gently mix.
Place the mixture in the fridge for atleast 10 minutes.
Scoop out the cookie mixture into ball shapes and place them in a greased baking sheet, spacing them out so they don’t lose their shape when baked.
Bake the cookies in a 350 degrees preheated oven for about 15 minutes.
Let the cookies cool before removing them from the baking sheet.
