3 grated potatoes
1 grated onion
2 tbsp flour
Ground black pepper
Squeeze out the juice of the potatoes and onion using a cheese clothe or a clean kitchen cloth.
Place the mixture in a bowl and add the remaining ingredients and mix well.
In a frying pan add some cooking oil enough for shallow frying, now scoop some mixture and place in the pan. Use the back of the ladder to flatten the scoop mixture.
Cook one side until golden in colour and then flip the other side so both sides are well cooked.
The pan cakes are ready when both sides are fully cooked, crispy and golden in colour.
Serve them with your favourite chutney.
They are perfect for breakfast.
