Scalloped Potatoes

Scalloped Potatoes
Peeled potatoes.. about 10 regular sized potatoes
White or bechamel sauce
Grated cheese
Ground black pepper
To make bechamel sauce:
4 cups milk
1/3 cup flour
Mix together and cook until it thickens a bit then remove from the stove.
Dice the potatoes into somewhat thick slices.
In a baking dish, layer the potato slices and sprinkle salt and black pepper then pour some bechamel sauce and repeat layering with potatoes and so on until everything is in the dish.
Cover the dish and bake in a 350 degrees oven until fully cooked and the bechamel have reduced then uncover and sprinkle the cheese and continue to cook until the cheese melts and kind of dries on the potatoes.
Remove from the oven and let the potatoes cool a bit before serving.
