Bread Pudding








Bread Pudding:

6 slices of stale bread..Cut into chunks
4 eggs.. beaten
2 cups cream (half and half)..or milk can be used instead.
3/4 cup sugar..can be reduced to suit your taste.
1 tsp cinnamon powder
1 packet vanilla sugar or 1 tsp vanilla essence
1/2 cup raisins (optional)
2 tbsp melted butter

In a baking pie pan, add the bread chunks and pour the melted butter over the bread.
Next add the raisins all around the bread.
In a separate bowl, add the remaining ingredients and mix well.
Pour the remaining mixed ingredients over the bread.
Press down with a fork to make sure all the bread is soaked into the liquid.
Now bake in a 350 degrees oven for about 45 minutes.
Then turn the oven off and let it bake for another 3 minutes.
To serve the bread pudding simply cut into individual wedges then if desired sprinkle with icing sugar on top.
Serve the bread pudding warm.
