Simple Oil Cake
Simple Oil Cake:
One of the simplest cakes to make. I call it my fail proof cake and I use this recipe as a base for many of my cake recipes like the zebra cake, orange cake, coconut cake, marble cake and almond cake. It’s very soft and fluffy.
I enjoy both making and eating the cake.Here is the recipe
Simple Oil Cake:
Ingredients:
4 eggs
1 cup sugar
1 tbsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla sugar or vanilla essence
3/4 cup oil
1/4 cup milk
1 and a quarter cup flourMethod:
Beat the eggs, sugar and baking powder at high speed until fluffy, then reduce the speed to low and add the oil and the milk, continue beating for a minute. Then still at low add the flour in two additions mixing well after each addition.
Stop the mixer and scrape out the sides and bottom and continue mixing.
Pour the batter in a prepared baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees oven for about 30 to 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Let the cake cool before cutting it.
Enjoy it with a cup of tea.
