Simple Butter Cake

Simple Butter Cake:
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups butter..room temperature
2 1/2 cups sugar
5 eggs
1 packet vanilla sugar
3/4 teaspoon almond essence
3 cups flour
3/4 tbsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup milk

Method:
In mixer beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Mix in vanilla sugar, salt, baking powder, almond essence and mix well. Next add the milk and mix well. Now add the flour and mix well. Pour the batter into pans greased with butter.
Bake at 350 degrees oven for about 30 to 40 minutes or until tooth pick inserted comes out clean.
Let the cakes cool before removing from the pan.
The picture shows just one of the smaller cakes, I made two cakes from this recipe big one and this one in the picture.
