Sweet Ginger Chutney
Sweet Ginger Chutney:
1 cup gathiya (Indian snack made from gram flour) soak with 1 cup water until it sucks in the water and softens.
Then blend this mixture into a smooth paste and keep aside.
You also need:
3/4 cup shredded carrots
1 raw mango..Peeled, seed removed and diced into small pieces.
2 tbsp sugar
1/4 cup oil
1 small piece ginger, peeled and diced.
Add all these ingredients except oil in a food processor and give it a quick few pulses.
Now heat up the oil in a nonstick pan and add the gathiya paste plus the carrot/mango mixture.
Cook until everything is well cooked and the desired texture is reached.
Serve the chutney with your savoury snacks.
