Escovitch Fish








Escovitch Fish:
12 pcs fish
Ground black pepper
Tandoori masala
Garlic powder
Lemon juice
Cumin powder

Marinate the fish with the above spices.
Add the spices according to your taste.
Now deep fry the fish until the fish is well cooked.
Keep the fish aside.

You also need:
2 cups vinegar
2 large onions..sliced
1/2 cup scotch bonnet peppers..sliced
Instead of scotch bonnet peppers, you can use pickled hot peppers.
1/2 tbsp whole black peppers.

Mix these ingredeints and cook until the onions are soft and the vinegar has
reduced to almost 1 cup.
Let the vinegar mixture cool and pour the mixture over the fish.
Let the fish rest and soak the vinegar in, for atleast 1 hour before serving.
You can also gently turn the fish half way through, so that the other side coats
with the vinegar as well.
Serve the fish as a side dish.
