Half Cake


Half Cake:
3 cups flour
1/2 cup to 3/4 cup water
3 eggs
1/2 tsp black seeds
1 tbsp yeast
1/2 cup sugar
1 tbsp baking powder
1 tbsp margarine
Oil for deep frying

In a mixer, add all the ingredients except water and mix.
Next add water but start with 1/2 a cup, mix to form a soft, firm but somewhat sticky dough, once you get this type of dough then no need to add any more water but if you added 1/2 a cup of water and the dough is hard then you can the remaining water but a little at a time, until the desired dough texture is reached.
Let the dough rise.
Once risen, roll out the dough and then cut into strips then into diamonds or squares.
Deep fry the shapes on both sides until golden brown..
