Cheesy Tuna Cutlets:
This tuna cutlets takes us away form our traditional tuna cutlets. The grated cheese gives this recipe a nice twist. Breadcrumbs is a traditional choice for coating cutlets but for this recipe, I’ve used flour which gives it a unique taste…
1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
3 large potatoes..boiled, peeled and mashed
1 can tuna..drain any liquid
Ground black pepper
2 eggs..for coating
1/2 cup flour..for coating
Oil for frying
Mix the grated mozzarella cheese, the mashed potatoes,
the can of tuna, Salt, ground black pepper,Ground cumin and Coriander.
Let the mixture rest in the fridge for at least half an hour.
Next shape into balls or oval shape.
Then coat the shapes in the eggs the flour then deep fry until golden brown.
Repeat with the remaining cutlets shapes..
Serve with tamarind sauce or lemon wedges..
