Zesty Tandoori Chicken
Zesty Tandoori Chicken:
3 pounds chicken legs
1 tsp ground black pepper
1 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp red chili flakes
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp lime zest
1 tsp ready made chicken seasoning
3 tbsp ginger/garlic paste
Juice of half a lime
6 tbsp honey garlic sauce
1 tbsp tandoori masala
4 tbsp of vegetable oil
Rub the chicken with oil, then mix all the dry ingredients on the chicken.
Rub the ginger/ garlic paste over the chicken as well.
Sprinkle the lime zest over the chicken.
Spray the baking sheet with oil and place the chicken.
Bake at 350 degrees for about 25 minutes, then remove the chicken from the oven and drain any excess juices from the baking tray. Put the chicken back in the oven and bake for another 30 minutes.
When the chicken is cooked, brush the honey garlic sauce over the chicken.
Broil the chicken for another 5 minutes or until the chicken crusts up a bit.
Remove the chicken from the oven and serve warm/hot.
