Chana Za Kukaanga:
Ingredients:
2 cups boiled chick peas
1/2 a cup crushed tomatoes
3 large tomatoes..diced
1 small onion..chopped
Coriander..chopped
Green chilies
Salt
1 tbsp curry powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/4 tsp red chili flakes
1/4 tsp red chili powder
Oil
Method:
In a pot, add oil and fry the onions.
Once the onions are soft, add the tomatoes and cook until they are soft, then salt along with all the spices.
Continue cooking for a few minutes then add the coriander, green chilies and the chick peas. Continue cooking for a minute and then add some water.
Taste for salt and cook until the desired amount of liquid is left.
Serve as a snack or a side dish.
Serves 4 to 5 people
