Uji wa Dawa











Uji wa Dawa:
2 mugs water
4 tbsp rice flour
1 tsp ground mixed spices
1 mug water for later use

Put the 2 mugs of water in a pot and bring to boil.
In a mug, add the rice flour, the ground mixed spices and water to make 3/4 mug of paste.
Once the water comes to a boil, add the flour/spices mixture to the boiling water and mix thoroughly..
Cook for about 7 minutes, stirring constantly.
After 7 minutes add half of the extra mug of water and continue cooking for about 3 minutes then add the rest of the water and turn of the stove.
Continue cooking the uji on the turned off stove for a minute or 2. Then remove the uji and serve hot.
