Paya Soup
Ingredients:
2lbs paya
1tbsp ginger/garlic paste
1 tsp curry powder
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
1 onion chopped
1 tomato diced
Salt
Method:
Wash the paya and add it to a pot along with all the ingredients.
Cover with water to almost all the way up.
Cook until the paya is soft but at intervals (meaning once in while) check to see if they have enough water and if they are soft.
Once they are soft, taste for salt and all the spices, and add more if you want.
Enjoy with bread

*I used a pressure cooker for this recipe, so the paya came out so soft and tender. If you are using a pressure cooker remember to open it once in a while to check for water level and softness of the paya.
