Mtuzi wa Samaki
Ingredients:
Fish…I used 2 fish heads
1 raw mango..diced
1/2 green bell pepper..diced
1 onion..diced
1 tomato..diced
1 tbsp ginger/garlic paste
2 green chilies
Coriander..chopped
Lemon juice
1/2 cup to 1 cup heavy coconut milk
Salt
Method:
In a pot, add all the ingredients except fish and coconut milk.
Then add some water enough to cook the ingredients about enough to almost cover the ingredients.
Cook until the ingredients have softened and the water has decreased in size, then add the fish and continue cooking.
When the fish is almost cooked add the heavy coconut milk and continue cooking for a few minutes.
Remember to taste for salt and lemon.
The mtuzi is ready when everything is well cooked.
