Mseto

Ingredients:
2 cups Pojo (green gram)
1 cup coconut milk
A handful of cooked plain rice (leftover rise will do)
Salt

 

Method:
Boil the pojo until they become soft, then drain any excess water and place the pojo in a pot.
Then add salt, cooked plain rice and the coconut milk.
Cook on low heat until the coconut milk has evaporated.
Avoid mixing and stirring..
Once the liquid has evaporated, turn off the stove and mix the pojo rice, mashing the pojo at the same time. Do not over mash..
