Mraba

1 cup sugar
3/4 cup water
Juice of 1/2 a lime
A drop of food colouring

Cook everything together until the syrup is sticky, stirring constantly.
To check if it’s ready, put a drop on a greased sinia and check for the hardness you want and remember when it’s dry, it will harden even more..
Grease your sinia well with oil and when the syrup is ready, shape them any way you want. Enjoy!
*Tips: Remember not to over cook the syrup because when it hardens, it gets hard as a rock and you might have trouble taking it out.
And another tip is to use parchment paper on the sinia, the candies will come out easily.
