4 spicy mangoes (there are types of mangoes called spicy mangoes)
1/4 tsp ground cardamom
1 tsp mixed spices
1/4 cup to 1 cup sugar
Coconut milk enough to cover the mangoes
Method:
You also need thick coconut milk; cook the thick coconut milk, stirring it constantly until it becomes thicker than before and keep aside.
Now cut the mangoes into two thick slices including the seed making it 3 pieces per mango. Do not peel the mangoes.
Then place the sliced mangoes in a pot and add the sugar, cardamom, mixed spices and the coconut milk.
Cook until the mangoes are well cooked and the coconut milk has reduced..This process takes time so be patient.
After the mangoes are soft and well cooked and the liquid has reduced, turn off the stove and add the thick cooked coconut milk over the mangoes.
Serve them warm or serve them cold..
