Fried and Baked Chicken in Thick Tomato and Yogurt Sauce
Ingredients for the chicken:
Oil for frying
1/2 tsp tandoori masala
1/2 tsp black pepper
2 tablespoon lemon juice
1/4 tsp garlic salt
1/4 tsp onion powder
2 lbs chicken pieces
1/4 tsp chili powder
Mix everything and marinate the chicken.
Fry the chicken ( don’t cook the chicken completely because you’ll bake it later).
Remove the fried chicken and keep aside.
Ingredients for the sauce:
1/2 cup yoghurt
1/2 cup crushed tomato
1 tsp garlic salt
1 tsp onion powder
1 tbsp whole cumin
1/2 tsp crushed chili flakes
garlic sauce (optional)
1 tbsp ketchup.
Mix everything in a blender and blend.
In a baking tray spread a little bit of oil and arrange the fried chicken.
Pour the tomato mixture and gently coat over the chicken.
Bake until the sauce reduces and the chicken is well cooked.
Enjoy with rice, chapati or naan.
