1 can cooked fava beans (boiled)
1 can cooked chickpeas (boiled)
Some olive oil
Salt to taste
Green chilies (chopped)
Ground black pepper
Remove the beans from the cans and wash them .
Place the beans in a pot, add some water and bring them to a boil.
After the water comes to a boil, give the beans a few minutes to soften up even more, then turn off the stove.
Next drain the water away from the beans, leaving just a little water to mash the beans with.
Next, add some olive oil, about 1 or 2 tbsp.
Then add some salt, lemon juice and ground black pepper.
Next mash the beans to desired texture.
Then place the beans in a serving dish and garnish with the remaining coriander and green chilies and sprinkle some more olive oil.
Serve with lemon wedges and pita bread or naan.
