1 and a 1/2 lbs meat
2 cups instant oats
Salt to taste
1 tbsp ginger/garlic paste
1-2 tbsp mixed spices (ground)
1/3 cup oil
To the meat, add the ginger and garlic paste, some salt and bring to boil.
After boiling the meat for at least half way, add the onion and tomatoes to it and continue boiling, not forgetting to add water to the meat until it softens.
When the meat is soft, add the oats and continue cooking on low heat.
Next, take a small pot and add oil and place it on a high heat stove, when the oil is hot, add the mixed spices, then add the oil with the mixed spices over the cooking oats with meat and cover.Remember to stir occasionally.
Next add lemon juice and taste for salt.
Remove from heat and serve the shurba in an individual bowls and add drops of vinegar over the shurba.
The vinegar part is optional.
