Nyama Ya Kukaanga
Ingredients:
2 lbs beef
1 large onion-diced
1/2 green bell pepper-diced
1/2 tsp crushed ginger
1/2 tsp crushed garlic
salt
2 green chillies
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
1/4 cup oil or ghee
Coriander- chopped
Method:
Add garlic, ginger and salt to the meat,boil and keep aside.
In a pot add the ghee/oil and fry all the ingredients, starting with the onion, then the green bell pepper followed by green chilies, black pepper and coriander.Cook for a few minutes and then add the meat without the water.Taste for salt. You can add the left over broth from the meat a little at a time.This meat dish should not have any water.
Serve with rice or chapatis.
