Mtuzi wa Keema (Minced Meat Sauce)
1 lb minced meat
1/2 a can crushed tomatoes
1 tsp tomato paste
1/2 tsp ground mixed spices
1/4 cup oil
1 tbsp mixed crushed garlic and ginger
In a pot, add the minced meat and some water just enough to cover the meat along with the garlic and ginger and some salt. Cook until the meat is fully cooked.
In another pot add the oil and start cooking the onions until they are nice and golden brown.
Add the tomatoes and continue cooking, then add the tomato paste and the spices, keep cooking until everything is mixed together well.
Then add the cooked minced meat with it’s broth and keep on cooking.
Finally, add the coriander and taste for salt.
Serve with rice, chapatis or even spaghetti.
