Chili

Ingredients:

2 and a half lbs ground beef
2 celery stalks
1 onion
a quarter of: red bell pepper
green bell pepper
Two whole tomatoes
2 cups crushed tomatoes
5 cans cooked red kidney beans
1 tsp cumin (ground)
1 tsp curry powder
Half tsp chili powder
quarter tsp ground black pepper
Oil
1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
half tsp garlic powder
A bunch of Coriander..chopped

 

Method:
Wash the beans, drain them and then keep them aside.
Dice all the vegetables and keep aside.
Cook the ground beef along with the ginger garlic paste, a little bit of the ground black pepper and a little bit of the cumin powder and some salt. Once the meat is cooked, keep aside.
In another pot, add some oil and start frying the onions, once the onions start getting soft add the remaining vegetables one at a time (leave the coriander for last addition), next add the spices and the cooked meat and last add the beans, if the mixture is thick add some water to help it cook.
Cook the chili until everything is soft and all the ingredients are well mixed and the chili is thick and saucy.
Taste for salt, also taste for spices.
When the chili is ready, turn the stove off and then add the coriander in the chili.
