Corn Flour Tortilla
Corn Flour Tortilla:
2 cups flour
1 cup corn flour..(I used masa precooked corn flour)
1 and a half cups water
2 tbsp water
In a bowl, add everything except the water and mix well.
Now add the 1 and a half cups of water and knead until you get a soft dough.
If the dough is not soft, add the 2 tbsp of water but one tbsp at a time and knead until you get a soft dough.
Let the dough rest for at least half an hour.
Divide the dough into 12 balls.
Gently roll out each ball as careful as you can into a thin chapati. The dough is very delicate so use extra care. You can use corn flour to flour the rolling surface.
Cook the tortillas on medium heat stove, making sure both sides are cooked.
Use the tortillas in making wraps, quesadilla and even enjoy them by themselves.
