227 gm mushrooms
2 tsp corn starch mix with 4 tbsp water
4 cloves of garlic
2 cups beef broth
1 cup water
2 tbsp lemon juice
Ground black pepper
In a food processor, add the chopped mushrooms and the lemon juice, blend to make a mushroom puree.
In a pan, add the oil and cook the garlic for a minute.
Next add the mushroom puree and cook until no liquid is left.
Now add the 2 cups of broth, salt, ground black pepper and let it simmer.
Next add the corn starch mixture and mix well to avoid any lumps.
Finally add the 1 cup water, turn the stove off and let the gravy simmer on whatever heat is left on the stove.
Serve on fries, mashed potatoes or steaks..
