Fried and Oven Baked Chicken
1 large whole chicken (cut into pieces and skin off)
1 tbsp ginger paste
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1/2 tsp curry powder
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
1/4 tsp red chili flakes
1 tbsp mayonnaise
Salt to taste
1 tbsp tandoori masala
1 tbsp honey garlic sauce
Oil for frying
Marinate the chicken with all the above ingredients except the oil for frying.
On a medium high heat stove, place a frying pan and add oil to it.
Fry the chicken pieces on one side until it’s crispy, then flip the chicken pieces to cook the other side.
Since the chicken is going in the oven, you don’t need to fully cook the pieces.
Remove the chicken from the frying pan and place them aside, keep aside the frying pan and it’s drippings to use later
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees .
Next take the frying pan that you cooked your chicken in,take the remaining marinade that was left from the chicken and add it to the pan along with 2 tbsp ketchup and 2 tbsp honey garlic sauce.
Place the pan on a low heat stove and stir the marinade.Once it starts to thicken, remove from heat and turn the stove off.
Take the chicken pieces and coat them with the ketchup sauce mixture and place them in a baking tray.Bake them in the oven until they are cooked to your perfection.
Turn off the oven and remove the chicken from the oven.
Place the chicken pieces in a serving plate.
